"The Psalms of the Bible" blog

Welcome! This blog is a place where you can read and make comments as you go through "The Psalms of the Bible" Bible study. Here are ideas of some of the things you can share:
What God's speaking to your heart through a particular Psalm, a favorite Psalm or verse, a song you found to go with a Psalm, art to go with a Psalm, whatever!

At the bottom of each Psalm, click on COMMENT to post your comment. Under 'Select Profile" you can add your name and leave URL blank, or choose Anonymous and add your name with your comments. My posts are in order by Psalm; you can find them to the right. So grab your Bible and jump in!

In Christ,

PSALM 2

For Psalm 2 I noted as a theme "Jesus is the King of Kings; submit to Him!" What did you put?

Sitting in my garden yesterday, talking with a friend, we were noticing how you can boil down much of the world's unrest to people trying to deny and throw off the Lord's rule over His creation. This Psalm makes that so clear. But...oh what joy for all who take refuge in Him! (v. 12b)

  1. Hello:

I just ran a test to set up members receiving any Comments made on this blog. If you receive this notice could you shoot me an email so I'll know that it is all set up for our group on The Psalms of the Bible blog. When it is all in place you will receive an email whenI I post, as well as when anyone else adds a comment for a Psalm. More of a community effect:)
    Thanks so much - Nancy
